Small hotel in a very very nice area just off the beach and near to the town, Cabo Verde, and central Santa Maria. Huge rooms, exceptionally nice and really friendly team at the reception desk. A safe, a sofa bed, and a flat-screen TV — very useful. Best possible location, 10 minutes' walk to The pier santa maria.

Thoroughly enjoyed how my suite was set up. I had a refrigerator and a stovetop. The location was perfect and particularly good, for example, Church of The Nazarene was not very far from the hotel. And near to bars and restaurants, it was a bonus.

My stay at a small, clean resort in Santa Maria was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the property was well-kept. The highlight of my trip was the island tour I booked with Toby, who made the day memorable and enjoyable. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, with a variety of cakes, croissants, and fresh omelets. Halos Casa Resort provided good value for money and had spacious and comfortable units.

It's a shame that the hotel's WiFi is so poor. It hardly works in some rooms and isn't helpful.
